Grade VI Book Reading Activity
Reading Day, Reading week, Reading Month (write-up for Website). GIIS celebrated National Reading Day, Week and Month from the 19 th June 2021 and it will be ongoing to continue to the 18 th July 2021. Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi launched this 22nd National Reading Month Celebrations and gave a clarion call to propagate the message of ‘Read and Grow’ among all the citizens of the country by 2022, to promote reading and understanding among the school children. This initiative is being followed in honour of the father of the Library Movement, the late P.N. Panicker. In the light of COVID-19 pandemic, the P.N. Panicker Foundation has initiated and designed different online reading related activities. Here are our avid readers enriching their knowledge and widening their perspectives on various aspects of the Universe.
