GIIS celebrated Songkran with great enthusiasm on April 18, 2025, marking the start of the new academic year 2025-26 with vibrant festivities and warm blessings. The celebration was filled with traditional Thai rituals such as water splashing, flower offerings, and respect given to elders, symbolising purification, rebirth, and the removal of evil. Students and staff participated with a sense of unity and festive merriment, upholding the values of respect, thankfulness, and beginnings anew. The Songkran celebration witnessed a special and auspicious start to the learning journey that lay ahead, striking a positive chord for a year of learning, development, and cultural enlightenment.
