Born on August 12, 1932, Queen Sirikit served as Queen Consort to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) and later as Queen Mother to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn (Rama X). Throughout her life, she was deeply involved in social development, founding numerous charitable organizations and initiatives to improve the lives of rural communities and preserve Thailand’s cultural heritage.
Flags across the nation have been lowered to half-mast, and official mourning has been declared. Citizens are paying tribute at royal temples and memorial sites, expressing heartfelt gratitude for Her Majesty’s unwavering love and dedication to the Thai people.
