Indian Classical Dance - Kathak

Kathak is one of the eight major dance forms of Indian Classical dance. Mr. Murali Mohan Kalvakalva along with his daughter trained our Global kids and staff the basic kathak movements which help our Globalians learn Indian culture and heritage. It improves our body balance and hand movements. Our Global family extends our lovely gratitude to Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre ( Indian Council for Cultural Relations).

Yogis of GIIS

“Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured. Meanwhile, the gift of learning to meditate is the greatest gift you can give yourself in this lifetime.” Globalian Yogis practice yoga on Wednesdays during ECA time to promote bodily awareness, reduce chronic stress patterns, relax the mind, focus attention, and to improve concentration. Mr. Sanjeev and Mr. Rahul helps our yogis to create mental clarity and calmness. We Globalians thank Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre ( Indian Council for Cultural Relations) for creating a soothing and harmonic environment.
