Message from the Principal

To my mind an educational institute is not just about walls made up of bricks, grout and concrete, but about building character, enriching minds and experiences that lasts a lifetime.

Today, the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever changing global society.

A school must try to provide its students with an atmosphere for multi-dimentional development, where children are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence, which is my motive always.

Hence, for Nurturing Global citizens, we have to focus on the child centered teaching process, at the same time instill thinking and decision making process through art and activity based. Throughout the school year, we organize a variety activities to encourage students to develop a holistic and well - balanced learning. In recent times, we often experience a paradigm shift in the basic approach to education. Realizing this, we all at GIIS, Thailand are making an all-out endeavor to restore this basic approach through different developments and community services. We believe education acknowledges that children are a source of inestimable values and the purpose of education is to draw out these hidden values from within each child. This is a continuous and creative process so that all children can express their identity and potential they have. As a result, it has been overwhelming to see our students are succeeding in various arenas, carving a niche for themselves through their potential, talents and abilities, in academics as well as sports program.

And we will continue to strive to improve the quality of GIIS students in IQ, EQ, AQ, MQ and NQ, so that they could be, "True Leaders of a Global Society"
